• Consumer Agreement
• The UPC assignment provided is unique and is to be used for the identification of one product per UPC barcode. The UPC subscription is owned by Multicom Publishing in Seattle, WA and under joint venture with 680 Digital (Nationwide Barcode, CDDVD Now) barcodes are distributed and managed to prevent duplication of usage. The purchaser understands and agrees that Nationwide Barcode UPCs will not be accepted by Kroger's, Walmart, Macy's (as they require a unique prefix) and may not be accepted for use with all retailers. The purchaser holds the responsibility to determine the rules and requirements imposed by all retailers. Purchaser may not resell, lease, or assign UPCs purchased from Nationwide Barcode. UPCs from Nationwide Barcode have been assigned using a GS1 Company Prefix owned by Multicomm Publishing. Purchaser further understands and agrees that they are not purchasing the prefix owned by Multicom Publishing and may only used the numbers assigned to them by Nationwide Barcode. Purchaser also agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Multicom Publishing, Nationwide Barcode and 680 Digital from any and all legal claims arising from the use of Nationwide Barcodes UPC barcode numbers including product liability claims, criminal prosecution, product liability claims and retailer punitive fines. Once a UPC barcode is assigned and e-mailed, no refunds will be made.
